As Editor of Connecticut Trooper, Cheryl has previously worked for the Connecticut State Police Union for twelve years as their Office Manager.  For six years, she was the Editor of Connecticut Trooper and Trooper News. Under the leadership of four different Union Presidents, Cheryl coordinated special projects including numerous legislative receptions, scholarship awards dinners, regional NTC meetings, charity golf tournaments and various Troopers’ fundraisers.  Some of her most notable projects include: the Trooper James Reidy fundraiser, the 350-Trooper March to the State Capitol to fight for Troopers’ benefits and better working conditions and creation of the Union’s first website to enhance communication to the Union’s membership.  Cheryl is proud to again be working under the direction and leadership of the 5^th Union President in her tenure.
 

Please feel free to email interesting stories and photographs for inclusion in each issue of Connecticut Trooper.  Her goal is to include one story per issue pertaining to each Troop and Specialized Unit throughout the State.

As an Administrative Services Manager for an environmental consulting firm, Cheryl oversaw a ten-member Support Team as well as served as the Northeast Regional Marketing Coordinator.   She was instrumental in coordinating marketing and sales efforts regionally in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York.  Some of her most notable projects include: an Open House for industry leaders and clients; and a Committee Member for their annual EWB golf tournaments, Earth Day events and local community volunteerism projects.
